The extension is the portion on the left (first photo below). Render and reclaimed tiles helped the new works to blend in with the old.

New office with bedroom over. The original house is Georgian, the projecting bay is Victorian, and the portion to the far right is 1990's.

I designed this in the 1980s when I worked for James Smith Associates, Maidenhead. This project won a conservation award.
